Who
are we?
The Pima County Bar Association
is a private, voluntary, non-profit association of lawyers. Like
all voluntary professional associations, we provide services to our members.
These services include publication of a monthly newspaper, a directory of lawyers in Pima County and
continuing legal education programs. We are not affiliated with Pima County
government.

STATEMENT
The mission of the Pima County
Bar Association is to provide service and leadership to the public and to the
profession; to provide to all people of Pima County access to and
awareness of the law; and to promote respect for and satisfaction in the
profession.
FAQs
How do I obtain legal advice?
You can contact the Lawyer Referral Service where for a referral fee $35 you can consult with an attorney for up to a half hour. For more
information call
623-4625.
What if I can't afford to pay a lawyer?
Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. offers pro bono
services for those clients who meet income eligibility guidelines set by the
government and other funding sources. In order to be
screened for eligibility please call 623-9461 between the hours of 9:00 AM -
11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM. If you prefer Legal Aid accepts walk-ins
at 64 E. Broadway between the same hours as listed above.
If you happen to be over the age of 60 you may contact the SENIOR LAW HOTLINE at 623-5137 or 1-800-231-5441. There are no income eligibility requirements for this service.
If I don't qualify for Legal Aid but
can't afford regular attorney's fees?
The Reduced-Fee Panel is not a free service but the
attorneys who participate have agreed to accept cases at reduced rates.
Cases handled through this panel are limited to divorce and DUI. To see if you meet the qualifications for the program please refer to the
Reduced Fee Panel section of our website.
How do I file a complaint against
an attorney?
The State Bar of Arizona has disciplinary responsibility for attorneys in the State. We recommend you visit the website
concerning attorney discipline at http://www.azbar.org/WorkingWithLawyers/menu.cfm
which provides helpful information on how you should proceed. If you prefer, you may call the Attorney/Consumer Division directly at (602) 340-7280 or toll free, 1-866-482-9227.
How do I file a complaint against a judge?
You may request a formal complaint form from The
Commission on Judicial Conduct by calling (602)542-5200 or by writing to them
