PCBA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

VOTING MEMBERS

PATRON Member -- One who provides extra support to PCBA & who is noted as such in The Writ & the Directory, & who receives THREE (3) FREE CLE hours with PCBA.

SUSTAINING Member -- One who provides extra support to PCBA & who is noted as such in The Writ & the Directory.

   Private Attorney Member -- Private Attorneys in good standing with the
   State Bar of Arizona and in practice for more than 5 years

   Public Attorney Member -- Public Attorneys in good standing with the
   State Bar of Arizona and in practice for more than 5 years 
(e.g., government,           state, agency)

   Judges -- Judges in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona

   Law Professors -- Attorneys in good standing with the State Bar of              Arizona

   Senior Lawyers Division (SLD) Member -- Attorneys 70-74 years        of age AND 75+ years of age

   Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Member -- Attorneys with five or         less years since admission to the State Bar of Arizona OR under 36 yrs of         age

   First-Year Young Lawyer Member -- New attorneys admitted to the                State Bar of Arizona within the last year

 

NON-VOTING MEMBERS

Retired Attorney Member --  Attorneys who were formerly-licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction & now officially designated "retired" in all formerly-licensed jurisdictions

Associate Attorney Member -- Attorneys who are a member in good standing with the Bar of any other state of the U.S. other than Arizona

Legal Support Personnel Member --  Legal Assistants, Paralegals, Legal Office Administrators, & Court Personnel

Law Student Affiliate Member -- An individual who is currently working towards a law degree and enrolled as a student of an ABA-accredited law school.
