WELCOME
The Pima County Bar Association is a private, voluntary, 501(c)(6)
non-profit association of attorneys and other legal professionals. We provide a variety of services to the public and to our 1500+ members. Please note that our name reflects the geographic area we represent
and serve, and PCBA has no affiliation with the county, city, or federal government. We also do not have any licensing or disciplinary authority over lawyers or judges.
We are located in downtown Tucson on the corner of Church Avenue
and Alameda Street. Our office, Suite 101, is outside and around the corner of the Transamerica Building. Our office hours are Monday
thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (excluding holidays).
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission statement of the Pima County Bar Association is to provide service and leadership to the public and to the profession, to provide to all people of Pima County access to and awareness of the law, and to promote respect for and satisfaction in the profession.
GOALS:
- To improve the quality of the practice of law
- To support a strong, independent and quality judicial system
- To promote the highest standards of professional competence and ethical conduct
- To enhance the professional growth of members
- To increase the public’s understanding of the law and the legal profession
- To encourage members’ participation in community service
- To improve access to and delivery of legal services
- To support opportunities for women and minorities in the law
- To promote communication among all components of the bar
- To increase membership and participation to help meet these goals
